Benefits Handbook for Faculty and Professional Research StaffGetting Started at NYUNYUCard Photo IDYour Human Resources Representative will provide you with an ID Authorization Form, which allows you to obtain a NYUCard photo ID at the NYUCard Center. As part of this process, you will be assigned a NetID that your Human Resources Officer will note on the ID Authorization Form. Your NetID will be imprinted on your NYUCard and is necessary in order to activate your NYU Internet account. If you are an employee of the Dental Center, you can submit passport photos to the NYUCard Center through your Human Resources Officer in lieu of coming in person. Carry your NYUCard with you at all times. You may be required to show it to gain entrance to University buildings and when cashing personal checks at NYU. If you lose your NYUCard, contact your Human Resources Officer for a new ID Authorization Form. At the time of publication, there is a $15.00 charge for lost or stolen cards, unless you have obtained a police incident report for a stolen card (in which case there will be no charge).
