Agents of Change: An Introduction to Process Re-engineering

Process is a fact of life at work and at home. In order to get things done, there are steps we take on tasks large and small. Thankfully, most of us don't really have to think much about it as when it works well, we don't even notice process.

But we all know how frustrating and painful it can be when a process doesn't work. In this fun and engaging seminar, you'll learn the basics of process re-engineering and more importantly, it will give you tools and tips on how you can help serve as an agent of change in your own school or unit. Through an interactive case-study, we will be introduced to concepts such as:

  • Chartering a project and creating a project plan

Effective Communication Workshop

In the workplace, we are frequently concerned about the clarity and purpose of communication we receive and apprehensive about communication that we must deliver. Surveys indicate that most people spend up to 75 or 80% of their time at work on various communication-related tasks, which are often frustrating. Learning the fundamental principles of communication and how to apply them can lead to greater overall success as a staff member and as a manager.
