Job RequisitionAny unit with a position vacancy (code 100/110, 104/114, 106/116 and 107/117) must complete a Job Requisition form to initiate the recruitment process. NYU uses MATCH, a web-based recruiting system. This is an online form that will be routed electronically for approvals upon submission. See the on-line instructions for details regarding completing this job req. Your HR Officer can also assist you with completing this form. The Affirmative Action Utilization Analysis is a separate form, and must be completed for all code 100/110 new positions. You and your HR Officer should discuss who will complete this form. InstructionsJob Requisitions for straight replacement positions need the approval of the Financial Officer of the respective unit. For new positions and upgrades of exisiting positions, the University Budget Office must provide additional approval before posting and recruitment can take place. The Compensation Office must also approve all new positions, evaluations and duplications of exisitng positions. The Employment Office will contact the Unit to begin the recruitment process once approvals are received. The completed Affirmative Action Utilization Analysis and recruitment plan must be approved by the Employment Office. For grades 15 or above, the Employment Office forwards the completed forms to the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity for their review and approval, and will follow-up with the unit on the status of the approval. |
