Absolute Assignment of Life Insurance (Group Link)

For all employees:

This form is used to assign the right of ownership of your NYU Group Life Insurance to another party. Once this transaction is completed and approved it is irrevocable. You may wish to seek professional advice before proceeding with this transaction.

Instructions

NYU provides basic non-contribory group term life insurance for its employees. Employees may purchase supplemental term life insurance through payroll deduction. Employees designate beneficiaries for their NYU group term life insurance. Should an employee assign right of ownership to another party, the employee no longer has the right to change the beneficiary on the policy.
