Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to re-apply each time I see a job that I'm interested in?

  • If you are an external applicant: Your resume becomes part of our searchable database once you apply for a position at NYU. However, if you identify any position for which you are qualified and have a strong interest, we encourage you to apply for that position, to ensure your application receives full consideration.
  • If you are an NYU employee: We require a Transfer Application as part of your application materials, so you would have to go back into MATCH and re-apply each time you see jobs you want to apply for (but you can apply for multiple jobs at one time).
