Annual IncreasesAdministrative & ProfessionalEmployees (codes 100/110) EmployeesThe University recognizes and rewards individual performance through the annual merit increase program. Annual increases are normally effective September 1. The University issues annual merit increase guidelines to deans, directors of institutes and vice presidents each Spring. The dean or vice president of the unit, the Human Resources Division, and the University Budget Office must approve all annual merit increases before any salary commitments are made to employees. Office/Clerical(codes 106/116) Laboratory/Technical(codes 104/114), and Service (codes 107/117) EmployeesAnnual increases for office/clerical and laboratory/technical employees are specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the United Staff Association, Local 3882. See Article 8–Wages of the Agreement. Annual increases for service employees are listed in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The Compensation Office determines annual increases for service employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. |
