The University Benefits Assessment Task Force (UBAT) has completed a year-long review and assessment of the benefit programs for Faculty and Administrators at NYU.
The benefit programs were evaluated to determine if they continue to create value commensurate with their costs. Benefits were also reviewed for comparability with peer institutions. The Task Force was encouraged to explore new benefits that might be of value to NYU Faculty and Administrators. All deliberations and recommendations were approached from a net revenue neutral position for the University.
This working group was chaired by Sally Blount-Lyon, Dean of the Stern Undergraduate School of Business and comprised of members of the faculty and administration, including representatives from the Faculty Senate and the Administrative Management Council.
