Living in NYU Summer Housing does not require enrollment at NYU, however, we encourage you take a look at the wide range of summer courses offered at the University. Important Information for Residents Checking Out of Summer Housing on Saturday, August 9, 2008:
The New York City Department of Transportation will be closing Lafayette Street, 4th Avenue & Park Avenue to motor vehicles on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm as part of its Summer Streets program. Please review the information on the official website for more information about specific street closures as this may impact access to and from your assigned residence hall. Any specific questions should be directed to the New York City Department of Transportation by calling 311.
Residents checking out of Lafayette Street will be directly impacted since this closure will restrict vehicular access to the street directly in front of the building. An email with more specific instructions will be sent to all residents of Lafayette Street with additional information.
