Reception Desk
Location: at the hall office near main entrance.
Access: Monday-Friday, 3pm to 8pm; Saturday and Sunday 2pm- 6pm. (Holiday hours may vary). For maintenance or other emergency assistance when the office is closed, contact the RA on duty through the hall security desk. (other hours during some holidays).

Desk services:
- Information about the residence hall, procedures, services, and activities.
- Check in and check out.
- Maintenance Requests.
- Key return and problems.
- Mail and package pick up.
- Vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment loans.
Safety and Security
Safety and security are everyone's responsibility (see health and safety procedures), but this residence also has specific building security procedures:

- All residents must present their NYU ID cards on entry.
- All guests must be signed in and out by their resident host and leave picture ID at the guard station.
Room & Suite Types
- Apartment-style residence. Four story walk up apartment building (no elevator). Each apartment has a bath, full kitchen, full size refrigerator, dining area and spacious common area.
- Not air-conditioned.
- Undergraduate residence.
- All floors coed; single sex in rooms, suites, and apartments.
- two bedroom apartments with 2 persons per room.
- two bedroom apartments with 1 double room and 1 RA single.
- three bedroom apartments with 2 double rooms and 1 single.
Kitchen
- Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, and sink.
- Dining area with table and chairs.
- Residents provide their own cookware, dishes, and supplies.
Bath
Full bathroom with tub/shower in each suite.
Furnishings
- Long (80 inch) twin beds, desk, dresser, and wastebasket for each resident.
- Dining table and chairs in kitchen area.
- Lounge chair and two-seat couch if space allows in common living areas.
- Windows have blinds.
- Carpeted floors in student rooms and suites.
Telephone
- NYU local telephone service is provided at no additional charge. Your telephone number is included with your room assignment, and telephone service is available when you check in, including call waiting and voice mail. There is one phone jack per resident sharing one line per bedroom. Residents provide their own telephones (no cordless or wall phones).
- NYU long distance service information will be mailed to your home address before or provided at check-in. Charges will be billed to each resident's hall address monthly.
Internet connections
Ethernet connections to NYUNet and the Internet for each resident are provided in each bedroom. Connection information will be mailed with your room assignment before you arrive, will be available at check-in, or may be accessed at www.nyu.edu/resnet. Residents provide their own computers with Ethernet cards, cables, and software.
Cable TV
NYU Cable TV service is provided, with one cable connection per bedroom, for access to national cable networks and special programming. Residents provide their own televisions and connecting cables.
