Welcome to the Graduate Student Halls! Comprised of Washington Square Village, Stuyvesant Town, and Livingston Street, the “Grad Halls” (as we are commonly known) are a diverse community of graduate students at NYU with approximately 600 residents and 12 Resident Assistants. Located in the village, near Union Square, and in Brooklyn Heights, our halls work together to create a dynamic environment where our graduate students can engage with one another and participate in social, academic, and cultural programming. Working closely with the 26 th Street residence hall, the “Grad Halls” strive to be a support system and important resource for our residential students. Throughout the year, we collaborate with many campus offices, such as the Office of Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center and the Office for International Scholars, to bring you exciting and useful programs. Our staff members are eager to introduce students to the activities and the leadership opportunities found at NYU and in NYC. We look forward to this year with the “Grad Halls!”
