Residence Hall Operations Manager: The Manager (or RHOM) oversees all the administrative functions of the area, and supervises the front desk and operations staff. The RHOM is primarily responsible for administrative/facility operations. This includes room assignments, occupancy control and maintaining student records. Additionally, the RHOM acts as a liaison between residents and Facilities, Central/Summer Housing and the rest of the University. Residence Hall Receptionists: Two full-time Residence Hall Receptionists staff the Front Desk Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 11 PM. These Residence Hall Receptionists are the primary source of information and communication for the area. The front desk can be reached at 995-3070.
Graduate Housing Assistant: The Graduate Housing Assistant (GHA) works with the RHOM and Housing offices assisting in the overall operation of the residence hall. The Hayden Hall GHA can be reached in the Front Desk at 995-3070.
Operations Assistants: OAs are located throughout the building and act as a team to serve the Hayden community as well. Their primary function is to provide assistance to residents. The OA staff assists the administrative office, mailroom and front desk.
Engineering and Housekeeping: The Engineering and Housekeeping staff can be accessed through the front desk via Service Request forms. The front desk staff will help residents complete the appropriate paperwork to address any facilities issues they may have in their apartment. Any problems in service (recurring problems or damages, service not completed in a timely manner, etc.) should be forwarded to the RHOM or GHA in the management office.
Hall Office
Hall Office location: Near main entrance, around the corner from the stairwell. The Community Development Educator, who oversees all Residential Education programs and services, student issues and community relations; and the Residence Hall Operations Manager, who oversees all housing administration and services, share a Hall Office suite.
Office Hours: The Community Development Educator is available Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The Residence Hall Operations Office is open is available Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Hello! My name is Stephani Wrabel and I am the Community Development Educator ( CDE) for Hayden Hall. This is my second year as a CDE here at NYU, but it is my first year working in Hayden Hall. I am very excited for the opportunity to welcome you to our residence hall community and to NYU.
I completed my undergraduate work at Boston University and then continued on to graduate school at the University of Florida where I earned a Master of Education in Student Personnel in Higher Education. Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, I have fallen in love with NYC. This city provides something for everyone. Outside of work you will find me running, following my favorite sports teams (Red Sox, Patriots, Florida Gators), spending quality time with friends, volunteering, and exploring yet another vibrant neighborhood in this great city.
There is a lot to look forward to in the coming year and I encourage you to get involved in the many opportunities provided. We have engaging faculty members who live in our hall, four Explorations floors, 15 dynamic Resident Assistants, 6 amazing Peer Educators in Residence, and a very active hall council. If at any time you have questions, concerns, or just want to say hello, please stop by my office located on the first floor across from the high rise elevators. Welcome! My name is Katharina Daub and I’m the Assistant Community Development Educator in Hayden Hall. What that means is that I work with the Resident Assistants, who live on each floor, to welcome first-year residents to Hayden, helping them to create a home here. Part of my job, for example, is to help plan activities so that we can all get to know each other and learn from each other. My office is downstairs on the first floor across from the high rise elevators, so please visit. This year is my second year here at Hayden and let me tell you, it is an amazing place to be. If you see me in the dining hall and recognize me from the picture, don’t forget to let me get to know you, since you can read about me right here. I love to snowboard and scuba dive. I also really want to sail along the New England coast. I’m a huge fan of sleeping, and when I’m awake I like reading Harry Potter books. Most of all, I really enjoy getting to know people, so if you want to know anything else about me, come and ask!
