Residence Hall Operations Manager: The Manager (or RHOM) oversees all the administrative functions of the area, and supervises the front desk and operations staff. The RHOM is primarily responsible for administrative/ facility operations. This includes room assignments, occupancy control and maintaining student records. Additionally, the RHOM acts as a liaison between residents and Facilities, Central/ Summer Housing and the rest of the University. Residence Hall Receptionists: Residence Hall Receptionists staff the Front Desk Monday through Friday. Pleaseclick here for front desk hours. These Residence Hall Receptionists are the primary source of information and communication for the area. The Front Desk can be reached at 443-7474.
Graduate Housing Assistant: The Graduate Housing Assistant (GHA) works with the RHOM and Housing offices assisting in the overall operation of the residence hall. The Carlyle Court GHA can be reached in the Manager's Office at 212-443-7475.
Operations Assistants: OAs are located throughout the building and act as a team to serve the Carlyle Court community as well. Their primary function is to provide assistance to residents. The OA staff assists the administrative office, mailroom and front desk.
Engineering and Housekeeping: The Engineering and Housekeeping staff can be accessed through the online or called in student work requests. Any problems in service (recurring problems or damages, service not completed in a timely manner, etc.) should be forwarded to the RHOM or GHA in the management office.
Hall Office
Hall Office locations: Tower 3, 2nd floor, rooms D (Office of the Community Development Educator [CDE]) and E (Office of the Residence Hall Operations Manager [RHOM]). The Community Development Educator oversees all Residential Education programs and services, student issues and community relations. The Residence Hall Operations Manager oversees all housing administration and services.

Hello, and welcome to Carlyle Court! My name is Therese Grande and I’m excited to return for my second year as the Carlyle ACDE. I am originally from California, but moved to New York City in 2002 as an NYU undergraduate. I graduated from CAS in 2006 with a major in psychology and a minor in English, and I’m currently a part-time Master’s student in Steinhardt’s Higher Education program. Carlyle Court is a fantastic place to live - we have the Farmer’s Market, great restaurants, and a beautiful park right outside our front door, so take advantage of it! Additionally, we have an incredible group of staff members, including your RAs and your Faculty Fellows, Anthony and Camila Reyonolds. Outside of Carlyle, some of the things I’m passionate about include being outdoors (hiking, waterskiing, anything active, really!), cooking, good music, and my dogs, Copperfield and Penny. While living at Carlyle, you’ll probably see the two of them running around the courtyard. Stop by the office on the 2nd floor of C3 or come to an Embassy meeting if you want to meet them! I look forward to meeting you, and hope you have a great year here at Carlyle!
