Students who are currently Studying Abroad

In order to be a participant in the Phase II Lottery Card Submission process, students who are currently studying abroad must have completed Phase I:

1. Completed the online re-application form by February 13th
- and -
2. Paid the $1000 non-refundable/non-transferable reapplication deposit by February 15th

Study abroad students who did not complete both steps of Phase I will lose their housing guarantee and may apply for all future academic year housing through the wait list only.

Study abroad students who completed Phase I are eligible to submit the online lottery card. Students may choose to submit a card alone or with up to 5 others.

Study abroad students who completed Phase I but do not submit a lottery card by the March 14, 2008 lottery card submission deadline will maintain their housing guarantee but will be administratively assigned by the Housing Department before the August 24, 2008 Fall move-in date. The Housing License will not be cancelled.

Students who are participating in a Study Abroad Program for Fall 2008

Students who completed the online reapplication and paid the $1000 deposit must submit the Fall 2008 Study Abroad Notification form to the Housing Office, 383 Lafayette St. by April 1, 2008. This form will authorize us to update our records to reflect your study abroad status. Once you have notified us of your status, your record will be adjusted and if applicable, the $1000 will be credited to your Bursar account.

Students studying abroad for Fall 2008 who submit the Study Abroad Notification form after completing a lottery card will have their name removed from the card. It is the responsibility of the student to inform their potential roommates that they are being removed from the card. The card cannot otherwise be altered.
