The following is the step-by-step procedure for submitting your Housing Lottery Card.

Step 1: COMPILE NECESSARY INFORMATION
You will need your University NetId and your re-application confirmation number as well as those of your requested roommates. You may re-access your confirmation number by checking your "Fall 2008 Status" through the Housing Forms channel at NYUHome.
Step 2: ACCESS LOTTERY CARD FORM
If you are submitting as a group, the student who accesses the form will automatically be designated as the CARD CAPTAIN. If you have not done so already please review the information regarding the CARD CAPTAIN responsibilities by clicking here.
When you log onto NYUHome you should see the Housing Forms channel on the main page. Click on the Housing Forms Log-In channel. You should then see the Housing Forms options. Click on the 2008-2009 Lottery Card Form link.
If you do not see the Housing Forms channel on NYUHome, click on Channels in the upper right hand corner of the page. You will see a summary of your NYUHome account. Under the Home banner, scroll down and check the Housing Forms box. Scroll to the end of the page and click on the Save Changes button. You will now be able to access the Housing Forms page. Return to the start of Step 1.
If you are ineligible to submit a lottery card you will not see the 2008-2009 Lottery Card Form link. Please review the information pertaining to Lottery Card eligibility. After reviewing this information, if you believe that you have received this message in error, please contact the Housing Office at 383 Lafayette St., (212) 998-4600.
Step 3: ENTER NETID AND REAPPLICATION CONFIRMATION NUMBERS
The "Roommate Selection" section of the Lottery Card asks you to provide NetID and Re-Application confirmation numbers, for yourself and roommates with whom you wish to live and/or be assigned to the same building. You may only select roommates who have completed Phase I of the re-application process. Up to 6 students may submit together on one lottery card.
Please remember the CARD CAPTAIN will be the person ultimately responsible for selecting the hall/room for the group in Phase III of the lottery process.
Step 4: VERIFY YOUR SUBMISSION
Once you hit verify you will receive a verification page. This page displays the information you entered on your lottery card. It also confirms individual and group priority. Please review this page carefully! You may click MAKE CHANGES to make changes to your lottery card prior to submission. This is the only point where you will be able to make changes
Please remember the CARD CAPTAIN will be the person ultimately responsible for selecting the hall/room for the group in Phase III of the lottery process.
If the information is correct and you are ready to submit your lottery card, click SUBMIT.
ONCE THE LOTTERY CARD IS SUBMITTED YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES.
Step 5: PRINT CONFIRMATION PAGE
Once your final submission takes place you will receive a confirmation page. This page provides you with very important information including your priority. If you have submitted a group Lottery Card, the group lottery priority and confirmation number is displayed.
