PHASE II Lottery Card Submission
March 3 - March 14, 2008

2008 - 2009 Undergraduate Re-application/Room selection, for undergraduate students (students with a guaranteed renewable housing status), is a three-phase process beginning in February, when students re-apply, and concluding in April, when students make hall/room selections for the upcoming year in accordance with the parameters established by a University wide committee in 2005. If you have not done so already please read the Student Affairs' summary describing the rationale and intended outcomes for student placement.

Phase II Lottery Card Submission is the process by which students indicate roommates that they would most prefer to live with for the upcoming academic year. Students may submit their selections alone or with up to 5 other students. While eligible students are guaranteed university housing for their full undergraduate academic career, students ARE NOT guaranteed a specific residence hall or room placement. Submission of a card with a preferred roommate does not guarantee placement together in a room or residence hall. Hall/Room selection order is determined randomly within the priority groups.

The Phase II Lottery Card Submission period begins March 3rd and concludes March 14, 2008, 5:00 pm EST. Only those students who completed Phase I will be eligible to submit a lottery card. Only those students who have submitted a lottery card will be eligible to participate in the Phase III Hall/Room Selection process.

If you do not submit the phase II Lottery Card you will be ineligible to participate in Phase III Selection and will be administratively assigned by the Housing Office in August 2008. Failing to participate in Phase II Lottery Card Submission and or Phase III Selection does not automatically cancel your Housing License.
