(slide 60) The courtly scenes depicted on this ceiling painting probably depict images of Nasrid kings. These ceilings were probably painted during the 14th century, and not during the final years of the Nasrid dynasty which ended with the eventual fall of Granada in 1492 to Ferdinand and Isabela, who took possession of the Alhambra.
