NYU Collegium Viol Consort
dfgdf

The Teares of the Muses Trio will perform Ut Re Mi Fa Sol La, 100 years of Renaissance consort music from England, France, and Italy. It offers similar concerts at two remarkable sites.

The first site is on stately Governors Island, reached by ferry from the tip of Manhattan. FIGMENT, a free, annual celebration of participatory art and culture where "everything is possible," occupies the Island from June 12th through 14th. The Teares of the Muses Trio will be FIGMENT's very first viol consort!

Concert: Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 5:30 P.M.
Pershing Hall, Building 125, is a short distance from the ferry landing, to the left.
Free Admission

The second site is the Broadway Mall, an intimate art gallery in a renovated Beaux-Arts building run by the West Side Arts Coalition.

Concert: Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 7:00 P.M.
Broadway Mall is at the intersection of Broadway and West 96th Street on the center island.
Free Admission
