NYU Working Papers in Linguistics

Call for Papers

NYU Working Papers in Linguistics is now accepting submissions for a second volume on syntax. The deadline for submissions is September 1, 2008.

We welcome submission of papers on syntax from all students and faculty members of the NYU Linguistics Department. Selected papers will be published online on the NYUWPL site and copyright will be retained by the author(s).

For formatting your paper, please follow these guidelines:

Papers should be in PDF format
Do not give author names in the paper itself (this is for the purposes of review)
Use footnotes, not endnotes
Give a complete list of references
There is no upper or lower page limit

Further formatting guidelines will be provided for selected manuscripts prior to publication.

Papers should be submitted for review by email to nyuwpl.linguistics@nyu.edu, following these guidelines:

Email Subject: nyuwpl submission
Attached File Name: lastname1-lastname2_paper-title.pdf
(separate multiple authors and words from the title with a hyphen, but separate authors from the title with an underscore, e.g. hale-keyser_a-guide-to-titular-grandiosity.pdf)
Email Body:
- Author Name(s)
- Author email address(es)
- Paper title
- Short abstract of the paper
