Workshops
Workshops and walking tours all take place on Thursday October 20, 2005 in two sessions, 12p-1.50p and 2p-3.50p. Workshops are $20 each, or $30 for two (the 4-hour Jackson Heights walking tour is $20). Registration on Thursday will take place on the ground floor of the Kimmel Center for University Life, located on the corner of Washington Square South (4th Street) and La Guardia Place. Workshops will take place on the 9th Floor of the Kimmel Center. Walking tours will begin from the registration area at the Kimmel Center.
The Kimmel Center is easily accessible by New York City Subway. The following subway stations reach the NYU campus: the Sixth Avenue Subway (A,C,E,B,D,F or V trains) to West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station; the Lexington Avenue Subway (6 train) to Astor Place Station; the Broadway Subway (N, R or W trains) to Eighth Street Station or the Seventh Avenue Subway (1 or 2 trains) to Christopher Street Station.
