Breakfast With Bill

Have you ever had any questions you wanted to ask Bill Labov, but never got the chance? At NWAV 34, we are pleased to present an informal discussion group, led by Bill, in which conference participants can ask questions (How do you define a speech community? How does speech style fit into a theory of genre?) or simply float ideas for Bill's reaction. We hope to make this event as informal as possible, so people are encouraged to stop by, have some breakfast, and have a chat.
