For your convenience hotel reservations are available through NYU Guest Accommodations for attendees of the North East Linguistics Society 32nd Annual Meeting.
Reservations are limited to participants in University sponsored conferences and educational programs, alumni, current and prospective students and their immediate families, employees, faculty, lecturers, and visiting scholars and sports teams with NYU sponsors.

When reserving your room mention that you are attending the "Linguistics Conference", the name of the hotel and room type requested, You must have your personal credit card ready to guarantee your reservation.
For the best room selection and availability please make your plans as early as possible. All rooms are available on a first come first served basis and normal rate and availability restrictions apply.
Club Quarters, Downtown (Three Star Hotel) A privately operated hotel under contract with New York University Located at 52 William Street in the Historic Financial District near Wall Street; Club Quarters is convenient to Washington Square and offers the atmosphere and security of a private club with rooms which are efficiently designed for the business traveler.
Rooms are on reserve for the dates of October 18, 2001 through departure on October 21, 2001. For the best room selection and availability please make your plans as early as possible. The room block will be held under September 21, 2001; after that date any unreserved rooms will be released and normal rate and availability restrictions will apply.
24 Hour cancellation policy. All rooms are rated single occupancy. A multiple occupancy surcharge of $13.00 per person per night applies to additional persons. Other room styles and rates are offered.
- Executive: A small, comfortable room with one double bed. Daily Rate: $136.00.
- Director: NYU's preferred room, Standard-size with one queen-size bed. A limited number of Director rooms have two twin beds or room for a rollaway for guests willing to share. Daily Rate: $156.00
Club Quarters, Midtown is located at 40 West 45th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Similar to the Downtown hotel, located near Times Square.
- Executive: A small, comfortable room with one double bed. Daily Rate: $155.00.
- Director: NYU's preferred room, Standard-size with one queen-size bed. A limited number of Director rooms have two twin beds or room for a rollaway for guests willing to share a room . Daily Rate: $175.00
Gramercy Park Hotel, (Two Star Hotel) Located at 2 Lexington Avenue and 21st Street. Overlooking the famous Gramercy park, the hotel is convenient to NYU's Washington Square campus and is located on the East side of Manhattan. All rates are for single or double occupancy. 72 Hour cancellation policy.
- Standard Double: A Standard-size room with one or two double beds. Perfect for guests willing to share a room. Daily Rate: $110.00
- Junior Suite: Large bedroom with one king-size or two double bed and a living room with a sofa bed. Daily Rate: $125.00.
Inns of New York (One Star Hotels)
Union Square Inn 209 east 14th Street (Between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Close to Union Square and the NYU campus, the Union Square Inn is a 40 room converted Brownstone. The Five-story Inn does not have an elevator. Credit cards are not accepted. All rooms have private baths.
- Moderate: Room has one double bed. Daily Rate: $139.00
- Superior: One queen size bed. Daily Rate: $159.00
Murray Hill Inn 143 East 30th Street (Between 3rd and Lexington Avenues) The Inn is a 50 room converted Brownstone. The Five-Story Inn does not have an elevator. Credit cards are not accepted.
- Shared Bath: Rooms have one double or two bunk beds. The single occupancy bath is shared with other guests and is located in the hallway. Daily rate: $75.00 Single/ $95.00 Double occupancy.
- Private room: with one queen bed. Daily rate: $135.00 single or double occupancy.
New York University Greenwich Hotel, 636 Greenwich Street on the corner of morton Street in the West Village, a 12-minute walk from Washington Square and the NYU campus. 48 Hour cancellation policy. The Greenwich Hotel is a private, economy style, student-operated inn on the ground floor of a building used for NYU student housing. The hotel offers the lowest rates possible for a comfortable room in a prime location.
- Two Bedroom Suites: Private Apartment Style suite with living and dining area, kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with one or two double bed. Some suites are available with one or two twin beds. Daily Rate: $195.00
- European Style Suites: Private bedroom in a two bedroom semiprivate suite with shared bath. Each private room has its own locking door and one or two double size beds or two twin size beds. Suite mates share common living/dining area and kitchen facilities. Some rooms have transoms that may limit privacy. Daily Rate: $105.00
- Student Style Dormitory: Single bed in a semiprivate bedroom shared with 1-3 other single student travelers in a large suite. Each dormitory space is equipped with a desk and closet space with a dresser. Linens and towels are provided. Baedrooms are single sex whenever possible. Baths are single sex. The suite has a co-ed living area and kitchen facilities. Daily Rate: $50.00
