Course Description:
This course deals with the study of language as a component of the mind. We will examine the major areas of language (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics) from both theoretical and experimental perspectives. We will also study how language is put to use by examining areas such as language acquisition, language production and perception, and the neurological representation of language.
