New York Festival of Song has been delighting audiences and dazzling critics for a quarter-century, with repertoire ranging from art song and opera, to Broadway and the blues. Founded by pianists Steven Blier and Michael Barrett, it is hailed for its thematic programming, which has “reinvented the song recital” according to The New Yorker.
