We invite you to take part in the distinguished intellectual life of the Institute of Fine Arts by joining our unique donor recognition program, the Connoisseurs Circle. The Institute of Fine Arts is world-renowned as a leader in the education of art history, archaeology, and art conservation. The Connoisseurs Circle provides essential funding for graduate fellowships while allowing those who will not pursue an advanced degree to benefit from its outstanding faculty, educational resources, and exclusive programming.
The Connoisseurs Circle offers a unique experience for those of us who are passionate about art and the benefits of membership are substantial. A core benefit is the ability to audit courses with the Institute’s celebrated faculty. Members are able to explore a diverse array of topics from ancient to modern and contemporary art. You can find detailed course descriptions here. The group is also invited to exclusive events including visits to some of New York’s most outstanding private art collections, intimate tours of a number of the most anticipated exhibitions, and visits to the studios of notable living artists.
If you have not been to the Institute of Fine Arts, we invite you to visit our historic home, the James B. Duke House, for a tour and to discuss the program in greater detail. We hope to see you often throughout the academic year.
