Image Permanence Institute's survey on Sandy related HVAC shutdowns

The Image Permanence Institute seeks responses to the following survey from any museum, library, gallery, archive or other cultural institution who possibly experienced forced HVAC shutdowns as a result of Hurricane Sandy.  This is a part of a broader investigation into the impact of shutdowns on preservation environments and whether controlled and risk managed shutdowns could be used as a viable method for energy savings without causing undue risks to collections. The survey is concerned primarily with shutoff periods and climate data rather than collection holdings.  The responses will be kept anonymous.
