The Annette B. Weiner Graduate Lounge and Library

The Annette B. Weiner Graduate Lounge and Library is a resource intended for use by graduate students in the Department of Anthropology as well as those graduate students in other departments who are taking classes in the Department of Anthropology. Its holdings include class materials for the current semester, including reprints and books, in addition to other anthropological literature, including faculty-authored books and faculty-donated books. The library also contains current anthropological journals purchased for Anthropology graduate student use by the Anthropology Graduate Student Association.

Please note that the Annette B. Weiner Graduate Lounge and Library is primarily non-circulating, and is not intended for use by the general university public. It is used as a graduate student lounge both during the hours of its operation and also during hours when the librarian is not working, and represents the sole common area for graduate students in the Department of Anthropology.

*On the day of a department colloquium, the library closes at 3:00 pm. Up-coming colloquia events are posted in advance.
