ELIGIBILITY

All September 2007 and January 2008 certificate, master's and doctoral degree recipients, and all May 2008 certificate, master's and doctoral degree candidates are eligible to participate in the on Convocation exercises.

Some master's and doctoral students will not anticipate completing his or her degree requirements by the May 2008 degree date. They may wish to request that an exception be made allowing them to participate in the GSAS Convocation/all-University Commencement. To request an exception, you must contact your departmental or program director of graduate studies (DGS). S/he must send a written request to the GSAS Office of Academic and Student Life, attention Cherone Slater.

Convocation invitations are sent by E-mail to all degree candidates beginning the second full week of March. If you have not received your invitation by Friday March 14, contact the GSAS Office of Academic and Student Life and also verify your contact information at the University Registrar's Office located on the ground floor at 25 West 4th Street or log onto Albert, the student information system.
