Amy Cimini

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amy Cimini is a 4th year PhD student in Historical Musicology. Her research is focused on the ethics and politics of musical embodiment as articulated through the relationship of Baruch Spinoza's philosophy to musical thought and practice in the 20th century. Amy plays viola in a number of rock bands, free improvisation and contemporary classical music groups in Brooklyn. In her spare time, Amy enjoys caring for her goldfish, Inky and Milla.
