How to Update Your Local US Address

 

Step 1

Using your NYU Net-ID (i.e abc123) and password, login to NYU home. Stern Graduate students must use ais.stern.nyu.edu for updating their US address.

Step 2

Click on the “Academics” Tab to access Albert.

Step 3

Click on the “Albert Login” button on the left hand side of the screen. A new window will pop up. Click “Student Center” to access Albert.

Step 4

Scroll to the bottom of the page, on the left hand side, is the “Personal Information” section. Using the drop-down menu to the left, choose “Addresses”.

Step 5

When updating your local US address, be sure to include ALL the information listed below. No PO Box accepted. *Required Field

     Country: United States
*Address 1: Building Number and Street Name (Example: 110 E. 14th St.)
  Address 2: Apartment or Room Number (Example: Apt. 1A)
          *City: Brooklyn, New York, Jersey City, etc.
        *State: NY, NJ, etc.
  *Zip Code: 5-Digit US Postal Code - Your ZIP code must correctly match your city and state

To find your correct US address: Type your address into a Google search box
(leaving out the apartment number). Google will provide the correct format and verification for your US address.

Step 6

Select the box next to “Mail” and then click “SAVE”.

Step 7

You want to make sure you receive the “Save Confirmation” screen when you are finished adding your U.S address.

Change Local Address

There are no walk-in advising hours on Monday, September 7 due to the Labor Day holiday.
