NYU facilities in Accra, London, Prague and Shanghai are available for use by the larger university community for colloquia, small conferences, business meetings and receptions. These locations are first and foremost academic centers and must accommodate scheduled classes during the academic year. However, space is often available for outside events during the summer, as well as on weekends and evenings throughout the year. Nearby partner institutions with larger facilities are also available and NYU staff members are able to assist in identifying possible options.

NYU operates a full-time state-of-the-art conference center at Villa Sassetti on the Villa La Pietra estate in Florence. The facility operates year-round, except Christmas and New Years, and can accommodate events of up to approximately 300 people.

In most NYU locations abroad, residence halls are available for use by NYU groups during the summer, and at select times during the academic year. A limited number of hotel and apartment-style accommodations are available at Villa La Pietra for use by conference attendees in Florence. Conferencing staff are available to assist in organizing additional hotel space in Florence, as well as catering and other meeting requirements.
