Life in London
Life in London for your son or daughter will be an exciting time in their life. You want to be sure that they are safe while they are having that fun. We try, as far as we are able, to insure that this is so.
The academic centre has a security guard on duty during all opening hours, and a sophisticated remote monitoring system for when it is closed. All of our students live in housing with 24/7 security and a controlled entry system.We are continually on the lookout for new ways to ensure student safety.
In the end, student safety and security requires co-operation and effort on the students’ part and our goal is to help them learn how they can make their own contribution to achieving that goal.
We maintain good relations with the local London police, who attend our orientation and speak to the NYUL students about precautions they can take to insure their own safety. We are in constant communication with members of the NYU Office of Public Safety, who advise and help us to achieve our security goals in London
