Contact points

We understand that it is important for parents to have a means of contacting both us in London and the Study Abroad office in NY, mostly in the case of personal or public emergencies and occasionally for reassurance. However, your first port of call should be your own son or daughter, except in unusual circumstances.

the top of a british telephone boxWe often get telephone calls in the beginning of the semester, when your own child has not confirmed safe arrival to you. Please understand that we are bound by FERPA (the Family Educational Rights And Privacy Act) and are unable to divulge information to you about your own son or daughter, including inability to give you their address or telephone contact number. There is no replacement for your reaching a mutual understanding between you and your son or daughter about frequency and timing of contact. We are allowed to suspend the FERPA requirements only in the very unlikely event of our judging the person to be a danger to him or herself or others.

In case you do wish to reach either Study Abroad in NY or us in London, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses are as below, and we will of course be as helpful as the law permits.
