Black history month guest lecture

Gary Younge is a columnist and feature writer for the Guardian. In 1996 he worked at the Washington Post as recipient of a Laurence Stern Fellowship. His book No Place Like Home, in which he travels through the US South in the footsteps of the Freedom Riders, is part travel book, part inquiry intocultural history. He will read an excerpt from his book and open the floor for discussion about contemporary race issues in the US and the UK.
