NYUL is more than a study abroad programme; it is a small university-institution in its own right. Its multi-faculty character underpins its intellectual interests in fine arts, sciences, humanities, business studies, cinema, and education.
Many activities take place at NYUL that one would expect to find in a university but not in a study abroad programme. These include conferences, workshops, book launches for our faculty, and occasional visiting lectures, in any of the disciplines in which it has academic interests. The next sections report on, or announce as forthcoming, some of these events. Our students are invited to all of these events, as a way of enhancing their academic and intellectual life while in London.
