The purpose of these sections is to give you a brief description of each course and course teacher, to help you decide whether the courses on offer at NYU in London offer you the choice and range you need for a successful study abroad experience. We also provide a selection of student reviews which highlight some of the more important features of our course offerings, and which might help you in making your decisions.
Many of our courses have co-curricular activities, both within and outside London, including such things as theatre visits and trips to galleries or sites of architectural interest. But some of these activities are less predictable: the Introduction to Marketing students may visit a local brewery; the Biology class might visit an important ecological project in south-west England. Our underlying philosophy is to take our students on trips that are chosen primarily for their educational merit. All trips are arranged insofar as they enhance the academic work of a course. In that sense, London and all of the UK can become an extension of the classroom.
