(as of September 16, 2013)
A number of New York University schools and departments have developed academic partnerships and affiliations with NYU's global sites, enabling a broad base of faculty participation in discussions regarding curriculum development, faculty hiring, and other academic and co-curricular initiatives related to each NYU global site.
An academic partnership signifies that a department or school has significant scholarly interest in a given site, and that it sponsors extensive coursework at that site. An academic affiliation indicates that a department or school offers at least one course at a given site, and is interested in participating in curriculum planning for that site.
Department or schools that are interested in pursuing either a partnership or an affiliation with a global site should contact their dean and/or department chair where discussions regarding academic partnerships and affiliations are held. Please note that at this time, as Paris is preparing for a transition to a new physical space, and there is tremendous school and departmental demand for the Paris site, we will take this year to focus on a smooth transition to the new building, and to assess fully all interest in new academic partnerships and affiliations. There will be a series of meetings this year for the Paris site, engaging those departments and schools that are interested in pursuing academic partnerships and affiliations there.
