Guilford House

Guilford House

Almost half of the rooms at Guilford are apartments containing just one bedroom (these can be doubles, triples or quads). The rest contain two or three separate bedrooms - a total of 4-8 beds in each apartment. All apartments (one bedroom, two bedroom, or three bedroom) feature shared kitchen and bathroom facilities - with at least one shower (not baths) - within each apartment. Most bedrooms are doubles or triples; there are some quads and five or six single rooms are also available (most in shared apartments; two are in studio rooms).
One elevator serves the building, but this does not go down to the lower ground floor.

The residence also features a communal study room, and a tv room with a playstation 3, along with a selection of games, and dvds.

There is an on-site office where Residential Life staff are based. The reception area is staffed by security guards 24 hours a day, and there is usually at least one student RA to support students in the building.
