NYU London manages two residences, and contracts additional bedspaces as needed with external accommodation providers, in Central London. All residences are within zone 1 of London's public transportation network; two are within easy walking distance (20 minutes) from the NYU London Academic Centre and the other residence is still very well located (around 40 minutes walk away from most classes).
Apartments in the NYU managed buildings, which are shared by up to ten students, are fully furnished with custom furniture with individual beds, desks and bureaus for each student. Each apartment has a shared living space/kitchen with cooking utensils.
All students will be billed an IDENTICAL housing estimate (this will be the cost of a double room within NYU London managed residences). This is not an indication of your assignment. The estimated housing charge will be replaced with your actual housing charge as soon as possible; however this could occur after the beginning of the term.
Students will be able to submit detailed information about their housing preferences within the housing application on the NYUHome Housing Forms channel.
NYU London staff will always endeavour to accommodate student preferences; however, mainly due to space limitations at NYU London’s residences, students may be placed in any of the housing possibilities regardless of preferences.
Housing assignments, including the address of the residence hall and the place to check in upon arrival in London will be emailed to your NYU email address, usually one week before arrival.
