Administration
The Office of Global Programs reports to the Provost of New York University, and is under the direction of the Vice Provost for Globalization and Multicultural Affairs.
The office manages the academic and administrative operations of the university's global academic sites:
- NYU in Accra
- NYU in Berlin
- NYU in Buenos Aires
- NYU in Florence
- NYU in London
- NYU in Madrid
- NYU in Paris
- NYU in Prague
- NYU in Shanghai
- NYU in Tel Aviv
The division also oversees all university-wide student exchange programs and administers some of the University's leading academic initiatives with a global focus including:
- Asian/ Pacific/American Institute
- NYU China House
- Institute of African American Affairs
Faculty with related research interests or other affinities with locations where NYU has an international presence are invited to participate in a Global Faculty Affinity Group. The Faculty Affinity Groups offer advice and counsel to the Provost, Vice Provost and the Site Directors on new program initiatives as well as on enhancements to existing course offerings. Affinity Groups offer the NYU faculty significant involvement in the management and direction of the NYU programs abroad, including ensuring that the Sites meet their research needs and those of their students. Additionally, the Affinity Groups offer advice on the creation of new programs and sites, assist with curriculum review and assessment, and actively participate in the planning process for new campuses abroad.
