A: Designating your gift is simple. The Giving Catalog displays all of the funds and initiatives across NYU that can benefit from your support. Simply select the college or area that you wish to support, and follow our easy step by step process to make your gift online or by another method you prefer. You will be given a chance to divide your gift between more than one school or program, giving either equal or differing amounts to each.

A: NYU's fiscal year begins on September 1 and ends August 31 of each year.

Q. What is the Campaign for NYU?
A. The Campaign for NYU is the University's seven year $2.5 billion campaign that will raise the funds needed to dramatically increase the university's capacities in five main areas: student aid, programmatic support, faculty recruitment and retention, facilities renovation, and unrestricted annual fund dollars. The Campaign will conclude on August 31, 2008.

A: A gift to NYU in honor of a loved one is a wonderful way to pay tribute to a person who believed deeply in the power of an NYU education. Our printable gift form provides a space to indicate whether you are making your gift in honor or in memory of a specific person. When making a gift over the phone, please simply tell our representative the name of the person in whose honor or memory you are making your donation. If you are making your gift online, check the box that says "This Gift is in Honor/Memory Of" and proceed to fill out the requested information.

Q: How can I get an Alumni Card?
A: When alumni make a gift to NYU, they automatically receive an NYU Alumni Card in the mail as part of their official gift receipt from the Office of the Treasurer.
