The Edgar Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life

Founded in 1996, the Edgar M. Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life engages one of the largest and most creative Jewish student populations in the United States. The Bronfman Center is home to dozens of student groups and hundreds of innovative programs and projects.

In the heart of Greenwich Village, the Bronfman Center taps into the energy of New York City to create open and pluralistic communities where students learn, celebrate, and explore their identities and Jewish life.

Shabbat for 2000
Shabbat for 2000 (S2K) is one of the largest student-run events at NYU and the largest Jewish student event in the country. This year, with your help, The Bronfman Center will host close to 2,000 students for Shabbat dinner bringing together diverse and dynamic groups for a festive evening of Jewish celebration. Shabbat for 2000 will take place on December 4 in the Grand Ballroom of the Historic Puck Building, located on the corner of Houston and Lafayette Streets. Your contribution will help support this wonderful event as well as other essential programming of the Bronfman Center.
