The Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service provides comprehensive programs, activities and services that enhance the student experience, support student organizations, encourage active citizenship, develop student leaders and create community.

The Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service places a high priority on offering each of our students a superior educational experience in an environment that promotes activism and ethical leadership, values personal wellness, embraces the arts and artistic expression, protects freedom of speech, supports the community-building efforts of student leaders, celebrates diversity, promotes being in and of the city, and welcomes the contributions of our alumni.

Contributions to this fund help to support programs and services provided by the Center, which include Fraternity and Sorority Life, Leadership and Community Service, Club Management Initiatives, NYUeVita, NYU Program Board, and NYU Radio.

Alternative Breaks Program Fund
The NYU Alternative Breaks Program provides students the opportunity to participate in a yearlong experience exploring social, political, and cultural dynamics of a community. Each year, over 200 students travel throughout the the U.S. and abroad to spend their winter break, spring break and weekends working with various host communities on such issues as literacy, poverty, homelessness, racism, immigration, disaster relief, and the environment. Through learning and practice, students explore the theory of integrating service, education, and reflection to create meaningful change in their communities. Contributions to this Fund help to underwrite expenses for students participating in the NYU Alternative Breaks Program.
