It is my pleasure to extend my congratulations on your child’s recent accomplishments, and at the same time, to welcome you to the Gallatin community. By now he or she will have been directed to register online for our First-Year Orientation, to be held from June 23 to 25. I very much hope that he or she is planning to join us. If you are planning to be in New York as well, I would be delighted if you could join us for a special program designed just for you.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 23, we will introduce you to Gallatin faculty, as well as the curriculum and our advising mission. Tours of the campus will also be available. The following morning, Gallatin will host a series of information sessions with representatives from the NYU Office of Financial Aid, the NYU Office of Housing and Residential Education, and the Gallatin Office of Student Services. If you plan to attend any or all of these events, kindly RSVP either online or by phone to the Office of Student Affairs, at (212) 998-7380. We will be happy to answer any questions you have about the program. The following morning, Gallatin will host a series of information sessions with NYU representatives from the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of Housing and Residential Education, the Student Health Center, and the Wasserman Center for Career Development.
We look forward to meeting our new Gallatin freshmen at orientation this summer – and perhaps you as well!
