The Gallatin Theater Committee, which is chaired by Professor Michael Dinwiddie, and which includes as members professors Kristin Horton, Christopher Cartmill, Ben Steinfeld and Myla Churchill is proud to showcase some upcoming theater events. Productions will include some of their own work as well as readings of several classic texts throughout the year.

In addition, Kristin Horton will be directing an adaptation of Kafka’s The Trial by Steven Berkoff with performances on November 5th through 8th. This is the first full-scale school production that will take place in our theater, and it will present Gallatin student actors and student tech workers and assistant producers who will stage this play under Kristin’s direction. Kristin will also include alumni actors, and will be working with theater professionals on lighting, design and in other areas. This is an exciting new development for the school, and we encourage you to get involved.

The production will take place Nov. 5-8. Rehearsals begin October 6 and will be held in the evenings and on the weekends.
