Course Subjects

Courses on Albert are organized alphabetically by the academic school or department that offers them, rather than by the topic of each individual course. For some subjects, this is very straightforward—if you want to study German, you look under “German” and see all the courses offered by the German Department in the College of Arts and Science. However, some subjects are so broad that they are taught through several academic departments. If you are interested in how literature is translated into film, for example, you might look for courses offered by the departments of Cinema Studies, Comparative Literature, Dramatic Literature, and English.
