August Orientation

We hope you are enjoying your summer! For those students who were unable to attend our Orientation in June, we also host a mandatory session in late August, once the residence halls are open.  If you are one of them, please read on!

Although you have already registered for your fall courses, and learned the basics—choosing classes, working with an adviser, registering on Albert—there is much more for you to discover.  Our Orientation on Monday, August 31 is specially tailored to provide you with all the information you’ll need to be prepared for the Fall semester. Throughout the day we will introduce you to our deans, as well as a number of our administrators, who will speak to you about important aspects of your Gallatin experience.  You will also meet your class’s Orientation Leaders, a group of current Gallatin students who can answer many of your questions about life at NYU and New York City.

There is no fee for August Orientation, but we will ask you to RSVP later this summer.

Again, we are looking forward to meeting you in person at the end of August!
