Degree Requirement Policy
Students are expected to fulfill the degree requirements that are in effect when the student enrolls in Gallatin. Degree requirements for students transferring from a school or college within the University are those that are in effect when they first register in Gallatin. Students who are readmitted must fulfill the degree requirements that are in effect when they are readmitted, unless their offer or readmission states otherwise. Degree requirements in the Gallatin School are subject to change.
How to review your degree requirements
- If you have been continuously matriculated since you were admitted to Gallatin, select the semester of your admission to Gallatin from the list below.
- If you were readmitted one or more times after suspending your matriculation at Gallatin, select the semester of your most recent readmission from the list below (unless your offer of readmission states otherwise).
- If your degree requirements do not appear on this list, you should come to Gallatin’s Office of Academic Advising for assistance.

How to monitor completion of your degree requirements
Students should confirm that they have completed the requirements by monitoring their “Degree Progress” on Albert in consultation with their adviser. Students can also contact the Office of Academic Advising to schedule a degree check, or for general questions regarding their requirements or Degree Progress.
