DANCERS CHOREOGRAPHERS ALLIANCE (DCA)
DCA works toward providing student choreographers with the opportunity to create their work with fellow student dancers. Through this, dancers have the chance to be part of the creative process and showcase their abilities. DCA also allows other members of the performance community to participate in roles such as musicians, composers, and artistic managers.
GALLATIN ARTS FESTIVAL (GAF)
The largest event at Gallatin each year, GAF takes place in the spring and showcases the best of Gallatin student work in the arts in a range of venues and performance spaces throughout NYC. Visual arts, music, multimedia, dance, theater, spoken word, and more collide in an annual celebration of the creative power of the mind.
GALLATIN FILM
Gallatin Film is a club that exists to bring together students within Gallatin who have a mutual love for film of all calibers, from the art house flick to the summer blockbuster. Students in Gallatin Film may love watching movies, or just love ripping them apart in post-screening discussions over free pizza.
GALLATONE
Gallatone is a student-run record label designed to release student music to the NYU student body and beyond. Gallatone thrives on the involvement of musicians, graphic designers, producers, engineers, web designers, photographers, the business minded, and many other students and their diverse interests. Use your talents to give Gallatone two feet to stand on. Or three.
GALLATIN PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB
The mission of the Gallatin Photography Club is to enrich the Gallatin community with art through photography. It aims to be a resource within which those not enrolled as Photo & Imaging majors can gain darkroom access and exhibition space. Its members seek to create a community in which student photographers of all backgrounds and methods are able to improve their skills and share their work with their peers.
GALLATIN STUDENT COUNCIL (GSC)
The Gallatin Student Council (GSC) exists to represent and support the interests and concerns of Gallatin students, both within the Gallatin School and the University at large. GSC works closely with teachers and administrators to ensure a student voice in the workings of the school. GSC also likes to have a lot of fun by bringing the Gallatin community together to create chaos everywhere and anywhere (like at the annual All-University Games, where we ritually put the other schools to shame).
GALLATIN THEATRE TROUPE (GTT)
The Gallatin Theatre Troupe exists as a collective of students interested in writing, directing, managing, and acting in theatre. Accomplishments include creating a one-act play festival and producing an off-off-Broadway show. Additionally, the GTT serves as a place to discuss theatre and attend several shows. GTT is completely student-run and open to those looking to get involved!
STUDENTS OF COLOR ALLIANCE (SOCA)
The Students of Color Alliance was formed to serve as a support and networking group that would connect students of ALL colors from within Gallatin for social outings, intellectual activities, and academic workshops that address common interests. SOCA now organizes events aimed at enhancing the Gallatin experience for students of color.
THE GALLATIN CONSCIOUSNESS
The purpose of The Gallatin Consciousness is to facilitate the synthesis of interdisciplinary ideas and pursuits on the common ground of the creative process and conscious experience. This club best serves this purpose by providing enjoyable, stimulating programming that integrates a vast array of interests. Students and faculty can meet and discuss much neglected issues and make connections with each other in order to achieve their personal goals. This organization exists to explore the nature of consciousness in all modes of experience.

Its format is very open and is determined by a group of students who collaborate to design the layout and select submissions. Come discuss the work of fellow students, or just submit your own.
THE GALLATIN UNDERGRADUATE JOURNAL OF GLOBAL AFFAIRS
The mission of the Gallatin Undergraduate Journal is to create, produce, and publish a scholarly undergraduate (e-)journal that showcases articles and artwork pertaining to all aspects of global affairs. The primary objective of the Journal is to provide a forum for undergraduate students at NYU to publish their work in a scholarly (on-line) journal. Secondly, the aim of this journal is to stimulate general interest in and lead to an increased awareness of global affairs that affect the world in which we live.
