Adam Epstein (BA ’96)
Currently serving as a producer of the smash hit musical Hairspray (and one of the youngest producers on Broadway), Gallatin alumnus Adam Epstein is no stranger to the industry’s prestigious Tony Awards. His productions have been nominated for 37 Tonys and awarded 12, and he himself won a Tony for producing Hairspray in 2003.

Anna Drozdowski (BA ’01)
Anna Drozdowski (BA ’01) is just like the rest of Gallatin’s multi-talented alumni: she’s unique. Anna completed her B.A. in three years, graduating magna cum laude with a concentration combining Performing Arts Management, Human Sexuality Development, and German Studies. The first person in her family to go to college, Anna chose to stay at NYU for graduate school, receiving an M.A. in Performance Studies from the Tisch School of the Arts

John Searles (MA ’94)
Current Gallatin students hoping to pursue careers in writing can find inspiration in the success of Gallatin alumnus and best-selling author John Searles (MA ’94). Since graduating from Gallatin’s master’s program with a concentration in Creative Writing, Searles has penned two books—the national bestseller Boy Still Missing and the critically praised Strange but True—and assumed the title of Deputy Editor at Cosmopolitan magazine.

Taylor Mork (BA ’04)

Taylor Mork (BA ’04) first envisioned the DevelopNet Iganga project during a visit to Uganda in 2003. While working alongside a local forum of community-based organizations (CBOs) in Inganga, one of the country’s most impoverished districts, he noticed that the community lacked sufficient communication technology. He came up with the idea of establishing a self-sustaining Internet café and resource center, and after three years of work, the DevelopNet facilities are up and running in Inganga, creating a new world of opportunity for natives.
