Approve/Reject Requests

Review and Approve/Reject Requests

As soon as Initiators click SUBMIT in Workflow, their requests are immediately routed to their designated Approver (only Path Administrators can designate Approvers). An individual cannot be an Initiator and Approver in the same path.

Approvers are notified of pending requests via email. They will also see the task in their Worklist and can choose to review or reassign the request. For more information, please see “Roles and Responsibilities” and “Relevant Policies” on this site.

To review and approve or reject:

1. In your Worklist, under the Subject column, click the Request # XYZ (Reimbursement) needs your approval linked text. This opens the request notification details.

2. About halfway down the page, you will see a list of links. Click Details! to view the Request Details.

3. At the bottom of the screen, in another frame, are buttons to Approve, Reject, or Reassign the request, as well as a text box to enter notes, if any. Clicking Approve sends the approved request to Accounts Payable.
